The Endless Mountain Music Festival opens its 2025 season with a truly unforgettable musical event — uniting the worlds of pop and classical music through the talents of three legendary singer-songwriters. On July 18 and 19, audiences in the Twin Tiers region will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime weekend of premieres, star appearances, and extraordinary performances.

Not only will music by Melissa Manchester, Jimmy Webb, and Neil Sedaka be featured in powerful new arrangements for piano and orchestra — Melissa Manchester and Jimmy Webb will be performing live as special guests, making this weekend even more iconic!

Both concerts will feature acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Biegel, who will take on three works written by these iconic artists, performed alongside the Endless Mountain Music Festival Orchestra under the direction of Stephen Gunzenhauser.

Friday, July 18 opens the festival at Steadman Theatre at Commonwealth University in Mansfield. The evening begins with Navarro’s Libertadores, followed by the Pennsylvania premiere of Jimmy Webb’s Nocturne—with Webb himself in attendance and Jeffrey Biegel at the piano. The concert closes with Dvořák’s The Golden Spinning Wheel, a dramatic tone poem that perfectly ties together a night themed around storytelling and transformation.

The energy continues Saturday, July 19, at the beautiful Corning Museum of Glass. The centerpiece of the evening is the world premiere of AWAKE!, a brand new piano concerto composed by Melissa Manchester—who will also be there in person to introduce and celebrate the piece. Also on the program is Neil Sedaka’s Manhattan Intermezzo, performed by Biegel, followed by Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, a majestic close to an evening of innovation and homage.

This opening weekend is a rare opportunity to experience iconic musical voices in a completely new light—brought to life not only by world-class musicians, but by the legends themselves. Whether you're a lifelong fan of Manchester and Webb or a newcomer to orchestral music, this is a must-see experience that bridges generations, genres, and musical traditions.
