Our community outreach program provides a variety of educational opportunities for students and area residents. Below are just a few of the ways to involve students in music education and appreciation through festival collaboration. We look forward to your participation and we welcome your input.
* Collaborating with general music, choral, band, history, geography, language arts, physical education, and art teachers in the region.
* Preparing educational materials to be shared with elementary, middle school, and high school students.
* Band/Chorus: singing and playing classical and Latin American music.
* Gym/PE: dancing the Minuet from the 19th century
* Language Arts/English: studying literature from the classical time period
Writing/Essay contests about life in PA.

* Participation in master classes with famous and world-renowned musicians for the children and adults of our region.
* Adults /children will have the opportunity to prepare a piece of music to perform for a professional musician and receive positive feedback about improving their
playing skills.
Adults/children will have the opportunity to listen in on a master class.
* Educating school students on the theme of the 2008 festival, “Classical Latin Fiesta,” through the presentation of live assemblies using our own community musicians and festival participants.
* Enlightening the general audience through the use of pre-concert lectures presented prior to festival concerts.
