Endless Mountain Music Festival Gears Up for Seventh Season

Timeless classical masterpieces blended with contemporary compositions set the stage for the sixth season of the Endless Mountain Music Festival, scheduled for July 28 through August 12, 2012 in Wellsboro, Mansfield, Blossburg, Troy, Canton, PA and in Corning and Elmira, NY.
The festival, under the baton of internationally recognized conductor Maestro Stephen Gunzenhauser, features world-renowned guest artists, festival orchestra and chamber music concerts, solo recitals, performance previews, and receptions with the musicians.
A community endeavor, the festival blends classical and contemporary music for over two weeks of entertainment and enchantment in the gorgeous Pennsylvania Wilds and Finger Lakes Region.
The 2012 season will offer over a dozen concerts and ample opportunities to experience the magic of breathtaking scenery and the small town charm of Tioga County’s communities.
Join us an hour before performances on Saturdays and Sundays for a lecture previewing the compositions, and composers with noted hornist and musicologist, Rebecca Dodson-Webster, Ph.D.
Following most performances, meet and talk with the musicians at the catered receptions that are free and open to all ticket holders.
NEW THIS YEAR: Endless Mountain Music Festival will present four free "Brown Bag" concerts designed for our younger audiences, but for all ages. Attendees are welcome to bring a sandwich or snack while enjoying our festival intern educational performances during the noon hour.
